Talks, Events and Visits
Each month we hold talks by gardening experts, often with the chance to learn practical skills and get expert advice. We cover a range of topics from garden design, special plants, vegetable & fruit growing to wildlife and the environment. Members enter free and non-members can join on the evening or pay a small donation.
Throughout the year we also organise visits to the best gardens in the UK. Booking forms are in the Monthly Newsletters. A special event is the May Plant Sale which raises funds for the Association. Have a look at photos of a selection of events and visits in our Gallery.
Our annual programme is packed with interest for active and armchair gardeners alike.
New members are always welcome. To join us please complete the Membership Form or come along to a monthly meeting. The annual subscription is only £ 15 per person.
Members receive the monthly newsletter, free entry to the Monthly Gardening Talks, a 10% discount on gardening sundries at T.H. White and special rates on Events and Visits.
Day Trip Refund Policy: If a Member booked on a Day Trip has to cancel, any request for refund will be considered in line with the Day Trip Refund Policy which can be found by clicking here.
Unless otherwise stated, all Gardening Talks are held in the Court Room, Town Hall, High Street, Marlborough, SN8 1AA and start at 6.45 for 7.30pm. For full details - click here
Annual Plant Sale - Saturday 17th May 2025
The next Plant Sale will be held in Marlborough Town Hall.
It's never too early to think about the Sale and MGA Members are asked to get sowing, dividing and potting up plants for sale!
Open to all - Come and stock your beds and containers with fantastic plants grown by Association members.
